Jan Hartmann as the title character Old Firehand grew up nearby in Schleswig-Holstein. The 43-year-old regularly plays the wedding planner on ZDF’s “Cruise into Happiness” and in many series and films.
Nick Wilder, who will embody evil as gangster boss Emery Forster in the Kalkberg Arena, comes from the nearby Baltic Sea island of Fehmarn. The 71-year-old, who owns a property in the US state of Montana, is not only known to television viewers as the long-time ship’s doctor on the ZDF “Dream Ship”, he was also the television advertising face of an insurance company for many years.
Sila Sahin remembers the 2017 season as an unforgettable summer. “I wished in my heart of hearts that I could do it again.” The Karl May season at Kalkberg starts this year on June 29th.
