Rapper Cro opens the doors to his property in Bali

Six years ago, rapper Cro moved his life to Bali with his brother. From the very beginning, the two wanted to create a place with “Casa Carlito,” as Cro affectionately calls his property, that would also be open to other artists. He has now opened his doors for the magazine “AD Architectural Digest”.

Cro has been successful as a singer for years. His five studio albums all landed at number one in the charts. But music is not his only mainstay. The 34-year-old loves painting. And all of these things can also be found in his new home.

There is a piano in the entrance, there is his own music studio in the garden and the singer has even built his own table for painting on which he can mix his oil paints. “I feel like a child here. I’m probably one too. This place is like my mother’s garden, bordering on meadows and mountains,” he reveals in an interview with AD. The otherwise very private musician opened his doors in Bali for the magazine and posed (along with his house) for the cover of the magazine.

Cro’s brother says: “It feels like you’re in an adventure playground”

Even though Cro has decided to live far away from Germany, his homeland, family and friends are more important to him than ever. He built this house for them, he reveals in the interview. “The largest couch in the world” has space for all of his loved ones. He then reveals that he spent Christmas with 25 people on this couch. And that’s not all.

His brother Benno Waibel reveals: “Bali has become increasingly important for musicians, artists and DJs from all over the world. There is no better place where yoga, healthy food, sport and productive work can be combined so well.” In other words: There is always something going on in this house. No wonder, after all, there is absolutely nothing missing there. A pool, a huge garden, a piano, its own studio, a music studio and even a basketball court. “You feel like you’re in an adventure playground that’s constantly changing and constantly moving!”
