When the couple got the diagnosis seven years ago, she cried, the 64-year-old confessed. “What I’ve experienced is a huge challenge.”

It has to be out one day.” Placing her husband in a nursing home is out of the question for Maria Weller. “As long as I can, I will be there for my René,” she emphasized and added to her husband: “You already knew why you had been courting me for 28 years.
