The actor from “El Marginal” had to be hospitalized at the Lino Piñeiro Hospital after the collision of his vehicle with another car on Route 9.
Roly Serrano suffered a very serious car accident, for which had to be admitted to intensive care. The vehicle crash occurred in kilometer 115 of Route 9, Rosario-Buenos Aires, near Baradero.
In one of the cars that collided, a white Ford, a family with two minors was traveling, while the “El Marginal” actor was in a Kia truck. All were transferred to the Lino Piñeiro Hospital by SAME.
Although the 69-year-old artist entered the guard consciously, minutes later he suffered a decompensation. After routine medical tests, Serrano was transferred to intensive care, where he remains with mechanical respiratory assistance.

Meanwhile, a 35-year-old man who was aboard the Ford suffered a cut wound to the scalp. While a 6-year-old boy who was traveling in the same car suffered facial trauma.

The Medical Director of the Municipal Hospital Carlos Baliela said that the former Marginal entered the hospital lucid, but that he decompensated as the minutes passed. After carrying out studies, the professionals who treated him in the emergency room determined to transfer him to the higher care room.
The professional indicated that Serrano – 69 years old – has “a chest trauma and a skull trauma”, and “with a reserved prognosis.” In addition, they are awaiting confirmation from the actor’s social work to transfer him to the City of Buenos Aires. “He is fit,” he clarified in dialogue with Tu Radio de Baradero.
On the other hand, Baliela reported that the family members who were traveling in the other vehicle involved remain hospitalized: they are a 35-year-old man and his six-year-old son. Both suffered minor injuries and could be discharged in the next few hours. “A 35-year-old man was admitted with a cut wound to the scalp. He is in transit with good progress. A 6-year-old boy is also under observation with facial trauma. At noon, both he and his father will be discharged,” explained the Medical Director of the Baradero Hospital.
