Former Beatles Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney attended the Stella McCartney fashion show together at Paris Fashion Week.
For Paul McCartney (81), Fashion Week in Paris was a mix of family reunion and Beatles reunion. The music legend was a guest at daughter Stella McCartney’s (52) fashion show. The proud father took a seat in the front row with his wife Nancy Shevell (51). Next to him sat his old Beatles comrade Ringo Starr (83), who was accompanied by his long-time wife Barbara Bach (76).
Paris Jackson between the Beatles
The only two surviving Beatles sat alongside other stars in the front row at Stella McCartney’s show. Actress Charlotte Rampling (78) and ex-Spice Girl Melanie C (50) were also sitting there. Paris Jackson (25), daughter of the late King of Pop Michael Jackson (1958-2009), even took a seat between the ex-Beatles at times, as can be seen in several pictures. Paul McCartney recorded two songs with her father in the 1980s. Among others, Lila Moss (21), daughter of 1990s icon Kate Moss (50), walked on the catwalk.
Stella McCartney was once again inspired by her late mother’s wardrobe for her new collection. Linda McCartney (1941-1998) was married to Paul McCartney until her death. After the Beatles ended, Paul and Linda formed the band Wings. Stella McCartney’s Wings costumes served as a model for her fashion show last year.
Stella McCartney has been a fixture in the fashion world for many years and has designed fashion for Chloé, Gucci, H&M and Adidas, among others. In 2001, she founded her own fashion company under her own name.
