What Ripley is about
Tom Ripley, a hustler scraping by in New York in the early 1960s, is hired by a rich man to travel to Italy and try to convince his vagabond son to return home. Tom’s acceptance of the job is the first step toward a complex life of deceit, fraud, and murder.

Andrew Scott plays Tom Ripley; Dakota Fanning to Marge Sherwood, and Johnny Flynn It’s Dickie Greenleaf. The cast also includes Eliot Sumner, Maurizio Lombardi, Margherita Buy and John Malkovich.
Ripley is a co-production of Showtime and Endemol Shine North America, in association with Entertainment 360 and Filmrights.
Executive produced by Diogenes’ Steven Zaillian, Garrett Basch, Clayton Townsend, Guymon Casady, Ben Forkner, Sharon Levy and Philipp Keel. Scott also works in production on the series.
