Disney has put an end date to one of its most popular streaming platforms. In the note, all the details.
The Star+ streaming platform will cease to exist in Latin America, since it will merge with Disney+ and begin a new era on said platform. Although until now the closing date was unknown, A document was leaked confirming the day.
The one who broke the news was the telecommunications company Movistar Chile, which issued a statement in which it spread news that had been kept under lock and key until now. “The Star+ streaming platform, by decision of the provider, will be eliminated throughout the country as of June 30, 2024”they specified.
The date will be the same throughout Latin America, including Argentina, so as of July 1 Star+ will no longer exist and a new stage will begin in the world of Disney streaming platforms.

All the content that is currently found on Star+, including sports broadcasts or music shows, will become part of the Disney+ catalog. In this way, this last platform will maximize its titles with the aim of gaining subscribers from the competition.
