The one who broke the news was the telecommunications company Movistar Chile, which issued a statement in which it spread news that had been kept under lock and key until now. “The Star+ streaming platform, by decision of the provider, will be eliminated throughout the country as of June 30, 2024”they specified.


The date will be the same throughout Latin America, including Argentina, so as of July 1 Star+ will no longer exist and a new stage will begin in the world of Disney streaming platforms.
