Shocking news from Viva cult presenter Mola Adebisi (50) and his pregnant wife Adelina Zilai (36): The couple, who tied the knot in Las Vegas just a few weeks ago, had a car accident on a motorway near Düsseldorf.
Adebisi showed photos of the couple’s broken car: “I think that was it for our beloved Mini,” he wrote. It was a “classic rear-end collision”.
A blessing in disguise: the baby is fine
Adebisi describes: “We had just come from the prenatal clinic and were traveling on the A52. Then the scene happened. There was a small truck in front of us and a 3.5-ton truck came up from behind.” And further: “At that moment you can only function. Before the impact you check whether you can somehow avoid it. But we were already there.”
At that moment, there was one particularly important thought, Adebisi describes: concern for the couple’s unborn baby. “But we were lucky,” said the 50-year-old. “The adrenaline is in the body. We both have a little headache, but we’re happy with how it turned out.” While there, a police officer advised the couple to go to the hospital for a check-up just to be on the safe side. The result: “Adelina is in a good mood again. We are looking forward to her due date in July.”
Things have changed rapidly for Mola Adebisi and his Adelina in the past few months: Shortly after Christmas 2023, in January, they announced that they were expecting a child. In mid-February they crowned their love by saying yes in Las Vegas.
