Fernando Samartin returns to the Gran Rex with his “Tribute to Sandro”

Next Saturday, March 23, a new show arrives Fernando Samartin, “Tribute to Sandro”, with the gypsy musicians. The show will begin at 8:30 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at Tu Entrada, Ticketek and at the theater box office.

Samartin’s career and his tribute show are known; He tours Latin America carrying as his flagship the style, the music and above all things, the unique magic of Sandro.

Fernando is accompanied by the Gitano musicians, who were part of the band from the early 80’s until their last Gran Rex, in 2004; giving a special and distinctive color. The band doesn’t sound like Sandro’s, it just is.

What is Fernando Samartin’s “Tribute to Sandro” like?

In this new show he covers the idol’s greatest hits. Furthermore, and in a magnificent scenic transformation, Fernando reviews the different ages of Roberto Sanchez; in his youth, when he recorded his most famous songs, and in his maturity, when he graced the Gran Rex theater with his mere presence.

Fernando, winner of an ACE award and a Hugo award for revelation for musical comedy “For the love of Sandro”toured the most prestigious stages in the country (Gran Rex, Teatro Ópera, Luna Park, among others), and some of the most exclusive places in Latin America (Teatro Caupolicán and Nescafé de las Artes, in Sgo. de Chile, Conrad de Punta of the East, Melisco Salazar from Costa Rica, as a guest of the prestigious Philharmonic Orchestra).

It also has an extensive tour of the most famous and influential TV programs in our country: Showmatch, Susana Gimenez on several occasions, the special 50 years of Almorzando con Mirtha Legrand, the Solomente Vos musicals with Adrian Suar and Natalia Oreiro, Polómica in the Bar, Loose Animals and many more.

Great figures in music and a friend of Sandro shared musical duets with Fernando on different occasions: Palito Ortega, Patricia Soca, Jairo, César “Banana” Pueyrredón, Juan Carlos Baglietto, Chico Novarro, among others, they graced the tribute with their voice, talent and love for the Gypsy.

In short, it is a unique and unmissable show where respect for his popular idol figure comes first.
