One of Germany’s most successful hip-hop artists will be a guest at the OÖN summer concert at Burg Clam on July 19th: Alligatoah. The German rapper, singer, guitarist, producer, composer and songwriter released his first album “Attntaat” about religious fanaticism in 2006. Alligatoah likes to use battle rap, in which rhymes are used to fight against a fictional or real opponent: “For me, fighting was always a tool; I used battle to tell a story,” says Alligatoah, whose real name is Lukas Strobel.
He gave his fans moments of horror after his last concert on November 20, 2023 in Cologne, when all content disappeared from his social media channels and the artist’s website, which led to speculation about a possible end to his career. On December 3rd, Alligatoah released the single “So raus” featuring American rapper Fred Durst. His sixth studio album “Rotz & Wasser” was released in 2022.
Also on July 19th on Clam: Tream, Germany’s first pop rapper, Mehnersmoos from Frankfurt and Lostboi Lino.
