The actor couple Rufus Beck (66) and Jo Kern (48) have separated again. At the beginning of 2020, the two’s love comeback made headlines. Now Jo Kern explains in an interview with “Bunte” about the renewed love break-up: “We met, had deep, clarifying conversations and also cried together and sent each other letters. It was a long unraveling process.”
This time the final line is final, said the 48-year-old according to “Bunte”: “We both believed in it and I will always carry Rufus in my heart. I also like to think back to our time together. Nevertheless, I had to go. Love alone is enough just not for a healthy relationship.”
Before the love comeback there was radio silence
The couple separated for the first time in 2013. In August 2019, there was apparently a discussion in the run-up to a sailing event that led to a love comeback. “We hadn’t heard from each other for six years,” Beck later said in a “Bunte” interview. He then invited her to another meeting. “Then it happened in quick succession, after two weeks I asked Jo if she wanted to move in with me.” Before their separation in 2013, Rufus Beck and Jo Kern, who also works as a profiler and coach, were a couple for around two and a half years.
