In 2019, headlines made the rounds in the British press that Princess Kate and Prince William would have liked to have done without. It was about a mysterious argument between Kate and Rose Hanbury, a neighbor and previously close friend of the royals.

But the entanglements don’t end there: Coren is a good friend of Tom Parker Bowles, Camilla’s son.

Legal action by Williams

At that time, Williams’ lawyers are said to have taken legal action. At least one British newspaper received a “warning,” according to The Daily Beast. It refers to Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights: “Everyone has the right to respect for his private and family life, his home and his correspondence.”

It is common for celebrities to hire their lawyers to handle such matters. However, royals traditionally hold back when it comes to tabloid headlines. The motto, especially in the British palace, is: don’t complain or explain yourself. However, William and Harry have a particularly damaged relationship with the (British) press.
