The restart of The Raven (The Crow), starring Bill Skarsgård and FKA Twigsrevealed its first trailer will be the film.
The film is directed by Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman, Ghost In The Shell), who told Vanity Fair that he considers the film a tribute to Lee’s memory, despite being a completely new version of the 1994 horror and revenge film. The film The original was based on the 1989 comic book series of the same name by James O’Barr.

In the trailer, we are introduced to FKA Twigs’ new version of Eric Draven and his fiancée, Shelly, along with a hint of the intense violence to come.
“Soulmates Eric Draven (Skarsgård) and Shelly Webster (FKA twigs) are brutally murdered when the demons of their dark past catch up with them,” reads the official synopsis. “Given the opportunity to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric sets out to exact ruthless revenge on his murderers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to right the wrongs.”
The cast also includes Danny Huston, Isabella Wei, Laura Birn, Sami Bouajila and Jordan Bolger.
Rupert Sanders directs from a script by Zach Baylin and William Schneider. Edward R. Pressman, Samuel Hadida, Victor Hadida, John Jencks and Molly Hassell are producers.
The film has a release date in the United States for June 7, the date for our region remains to be known.
