The Spanish actress who rose to fame for her leading role in Elite (2018), Esther Exposito, returns to fiction in 2024 through a shocking and adventurous Mexican production about the search for a lost Mayan treasure. The series is called Bandits and has seven episodes in its first season and is available on Netflix.

Exposito faces Lilí, who along with Miguel (Alfonso Dosal) travel to Mexico with the mission of unearthing a Mayan treasure hidden for thousands of years.


The Serie premiered on March 13 on Netflix and was filmed in incredible locations such as Mérida and different parts of the Yucatán Peninsula, which transports the viewer through amazing paradisiacal landscapes, within a plot that combines action and comedy.

The plot follows the story of Miguel, son of a retired archaeologist, and his accomplice Lilí, an expert in scams. Together, they recruit a team of adventurers to search for a priceless Mayan treasure in southeastern Mexico. In their quest, they face rival competitors and immerse themselves in ancient pre-Hispanic legends.
