What did someone die from in an allotment garden? The Münster duo Chief Inspector Frank Thiel (Axel Prahl) and Professor Boerne (Jan Josef Liefers) are looking for the cause of death. And find that little bit of happiness. It lies in homemade jam and free physical culture behind high fences. While the grass grows over many – and some – things.

What begins as an endearing parody of the ideal little world leads back into German history, to Hans-Dietrich Genscher and Eduard Shevardnadze, the pioneers of German reunification. The audience learns more about the consistency of brains under heat in pathology, where Professor Boerne does his job and diligently pays into the “lousy sayings fund”.

The luck of the investigators? When 23 murders are solved at once thanks to a dead assassin. Crime thriller with a lot of (word) humor.
