Angelina Jolie and her daughter Zahara fight violence against women. They show new photos at meetings with politicians in Washington.
Hollywood star Angelina Jolie (46, “Eternals”) and her eldest daughter Zahara (16) work together against violence against women. To express their call for the modernization and strengthening of a US law, the duo traveled together to Washington DC
Photos of the two, who met with various politicians in the US capital, can be seen since Friday (December 17) of Brad Pitt’s (57, “Fight Club”) ex-wife. The 16-year-old Zahara is shown in the first of four pictures together with her famous mother and a representative of the US state of Texas, Sheila Jackson Lee (71). The other shots show Jolie in animated conversation with other legislators and advocates.
Angelina Jolie wants to “modernize and strengthen” US law
The Golden Globe and Oscar winner declared in her post that she was “honored to visit Washington DC with Zahara”. She works with various politicians “to modernize and strengthen the Violence Against Women Act”. It should include “the protection of the health and safety of children, communities of people of color, tribes, LGBTQ survivors, rural areas and all survivors”. The 46-year-old also called for various reforms.
