The story tells the experience of Francesc Boix, who was a Catalan photographer and communist militant who participated in the Civil War fighting on the Republican side, who in his attempted exile during World War II, was captured and sent to the Nazi concentration camp. of Mauthausen.
There he dedicated himself to photographing the horrors of the place and keeping the images secret so as not to be discovered by the Germans.. The photographs were used to incriminate numerous Nazi leaders during the Nuremberg trials.
