Matthew Modine plays the scientist whom Brown calls “Papa” in her role as Eleven in the Netflix series “Stranger Things.” He says he has a license to marry people.
“Stranger Things” star Matthew Modine (65) says he will marry his series colleague Millie Bobby Brown (20) and rock star son Jake Bongiovi (21) at their wedding. “I have one of these licenses to marry people, and Millie thought it would be great, and then Jake said it would be a great idea,” Modine said on the TV show “Access Hollywood.”
So he drafted a speech, the actor explained. “And they loved what I wrote, that they might join hands and become husband and wife.” Modine plays the scientist who Brown calls “Papa” in her role as Eleven in the Netflix series “Stranger Things.”
According to Modine, the wedding of his young series colleague would be the second one he has carried out himself. “It’s such a beautiful thing to bring two people into the holy state of marriage,” he enthused. Brown and the son of US musician John Bon Jovi announced their engagement in April last year.
