Renata Lusin and her husband Valentin are parents. This was announced a few hours before the new episode of “Let’s Dance”. The little happy family watches the live broadcast of the dance show from the hospital that evening.
When the news was spread by RTL on Thursday that professional dancer Valentin Lusin would not appear on “Let’s Dance” this Friday, many fans already suspected it: the birth of Renata and Valentin’s daughter was likely to be imminent. The new father had previously announced that he would sit out the show when the baby was born.
And that happened this Thursday afternoon: As RTL and the Lusins announced on Instagram, among other things, daughter Stella was born on March 21st in Düsseldorf, exactly at 12:28 p.m. The little one measures 56 centimeters and weighs 3900 grams. Mother and child are in good health.
This time, the small family will watch the live broadcast of “Let’s Dance” on the TV screen in the hospital, according to RTL. Valentin Lusin’s celebrity dance partner Ann-Kathrin Bendixen (“Monkey on Bike”) will then be on the dance floor with Mikael Tatarkin, who stood in for Lusin.
“Like dad,” says Renata Lusin about little Stella’s thick dark hair
In the current photos, the Lusins are beaming with each other, Valentin is holding the little one in his arms, who, according to reports, was born with a dark mane. “Like dad,” says Renata. The mother looks very tired and very happy in the photos.
Many people took part in the Lusins’ fate, especially last year, when Renata Lusin – like her husband, a dance professional on the RTL show – first announced that she was pregnant and shortly afterwards had to make it public that she was having the child had lost. The couple had to cope with three miscarriages.
The two were open about it, which earned the couple a lot of sympathy. When it was announced at the beginning of the new season of the dance show that Renata Lusin was heavily pregnant, the fan community was excited. Renata Lusin appeared at the beginning of the new “Let’s Dance” season with Babykugel on the sidelines of the dance competition, together with professional dancer Isabel Edvardsson, who is also pregnant and is expecting her third child.
By the way, little Stella Lusin chose a very suitable date for her birth, as RTL also reports. Because after this Friday evening, “Let’s Dance” will go into the Easter break. After that, there won’t be dancing again until April 5th. “Renata and Valentin Lusin can enjoy their young family happiness in peace for the time being,” says the broadcaster.
