Shakira presented her new album “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” on Thursday evening in a good mood and in a great style in Florida.
Pop star Shakira (47) joyfully presented her first studio album in seven years on Thursday evening in Florida. She presented her twelfth album of her career to the audience in a short black mini dress that was decorated with a glittering silver star and other curved applications.
The Colombian singer wore an XXL silver bracelet around her wrist. Loose hair that fell in soft waves over her shoulders and black high-heeled boots completed the look. Her long-awaited new album is titled “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran,” which translates to “Women Don’t Cry Anymore.”
In the songs that can be found on the record, Shakira is said to have dealt with her separation from her ex-partner Gerard Piqué (37), with whom she has two sons. The album is therefore also known to fans as the “revenge album”. Pique is now in a relationship with the influencer Clara Chia Martir.
Music helped Shakira get through the difficult times
Her new album stands for “the transformation of pain into creativity, of frustration into productivity, of anger into passion, of vulnerability into resilience.” The singer added: “There were so many parts of my life that were crumbling before my eyes and I had to rebuild myself in a way, pick up the bones from the ground and put them all together. And the glue that held it all together was the Music.”
The singer’s twelfth studio album contains many new songs and a remix, in addition to some already known songs, it was said in advance. These include the collaboration “BZRP Music Sessions #53” with DJ and producer Bizarrap (25), published in January 2023, which now has over 700 million views on YouTube.
