Netflix recently released Damsela movie epic fantasy and adventure which lasts less than two hours, and those who saw it say that it is unmissable. A few days after its premiere, the film that stars Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things) has already become the most viewed on the platform.
Damsel is directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo and the release date on Netflix was no coincidence: the film hit the grid on March 8 past, coinciding with the International Women’s Day. The particularity of this fairy tale is that the main characters are all female and the princess becomes the heroine and the prince a real villain.

A diligent damsel agrees to marry a handsome prince, but soon discovers that The royal family’s true plan is to sacrifice her to pay off an old debt. When she is locked in a cave with a ferocious dragon, she must use her cunning and strength to survive.
“A damsel marries a charming prince, but the marriage becomes an odyssey for survival when she is given as an offering to a ferocious dragon,” reads the official Netflix synopsis.
