A year ago, Patrice Aminati was diagnosed with cancer and now has to cope with a setback: she has metastases in her lungs and head. The 29-year-old describes how she is doing on Instagram.
TV presenter Daniel Aminati and his wife Patrice have been going through a difficult time for a year. In the spring of 2023, the 29-year-old was diagnosed with black skin cancer that had already spread during a routine examination. Patrice Aminati had to undergo surgery to remove some lymph nodes. She then began extensive immunotherapy. Most recently, the mother of a young daughter was full of hope that she would beat cancer. But recently Patricia Aminati had to cope with further bad news: metastases were found in her lungs. She is currently receiving infusion and radiation therapy. This is “not a wellness program,” Daniel Aminati said on social media.

Now his wife has spoken out on Instagram herself and describes in moving words how she is feeling. “Those affected know that if a cancer patient doesn’t come forward, if he is quiet, if he is silent, then it is bad. I have had a difficult time. With pain that was unimaginable for me,” Patrice Aminati begins her contribution .
Apparently her situation is even more serious than previously known, because she writes that metastases have not only developed in her lungs, but also in her head. Doctors are trying to combat it with radiation and immunotherapy. A procedure that, according to Aminati, is incredibly painful.

“What I didn’t know was the horrific side effects that this therapy would have. There’s nothing to sugarcoat here. I know there are those affected who feel the same way as me – others are a little more lucky. I lost sight and hearing because of the pain . Every effort has been made to stabilize me. There are no words for it. (…) But I’m afraid; I’m afraid of the infusions that won’t go into any vein anymore. It’s as if I’m soaked in medication Body defends itself.”

Despite her suffering, she is grateful that she is receiving therapy because she just wants to live. “My dear little life. Life has never seemed so precious to me, so worth living,” writes Patrice Aminati. She accompanied her posting with photos and videos that showed her with her little daughter or in the hospital.
Patrice and Daniel Aminati met in 2018 and married civilly in April 2022. Their daughter Charly Malika was born in August 2022. Daniel Aminati was formerly a member of the band Bed & Breakfast and has hosted the ProSieben show “taff” since 2009.
