Actor Diego Peretti, one of the protagonists, revealed the information that fans of the series were waiting for. When will it be released in theaters?
Fans of Los Simuladores have been waiting for years for the film of the popular Argentine series, which was confirmed in 2022 and has not yet started filming. Although at first there was talk of 2024, it was finally confirmed that we will have to wait longer. But this week, Actor Diego Peretti revealed when filming begins and expectations grew.
“We are going to film it in the second half of this year”said the person who plays Emilio Ravenna, one of the four simulators, and cleared up doubts regarding the production delay.
In relation to Damián Szifrón, director and author of the film, he indicated: “He is very good. He really is a first-class, international author and director. I always liked how he writes and here he is generating a film, a story that I love.”

What the Simulators movie will be about
Diego Peretti tried not to reveal too many details in relation to the plot of the Simulators movie, but he did say that “It’s going to be a very good story, a cinematographic story, an epic, beautiful, romantic story.”
Although he admitted that the bar “is very high”, due to the great reception that the series had from beginning to end, he trusted that “the film is going to overcome it and well.”
When is the Simulators movie released?
The Simulators movie does not yet have a confirmed release date, but it isIt is expected to hit theaters between 2025 and 2026. Filming, as Peretti announced, will take place during the second half of this year and post-production will take place next year.
The film, directed by Szifrón, will be directed by Paramount+ and will be on that company’s streaming platform after it hits theaters.
