Simone Thomalla is “for the first time in ages” without a partner. But the actor gets along well with that.
After the end of the long relationship with handball professional Silvio Heinevetter, actress Simone Thomalla (“Tatort”) does not fear the first Christmas party without a partner. “I’m single now, that’s new, but I’m really not lonely,” said the 56-year-old of “Bild am Sonntag”.
The party as a single means less planning effort for them. “We almost all know it – at Christmas you tear yourself apart who is visited on which day”. Now it is easier, stressed the mother of actress Sophia Thomalla. “At this festival I only do what I feel like doing on my own.”
In her own words, Thomalla is not afraid of loneliness, although she is “without a partner for the first time in ages”. “I think a lot of women also know the thought that after a breakup you believe you will never find a new love again, or at least not that quickly. But I know from experience that suddenly someone can stand in front of you », says Thomalla.
She and Heinevetter (37) were a couple for twelve years. Then came the separation in September of this year. “I just need time to take a deep breath,” emphasizes the actress, who comes from Leipzig but has lived in Berlin for years. “I’m open to a new love, but I’m not afraid of it, once I don’t meet it.”
