The popular Netflix series “You – You will love me” is entering its final round this year. Now there is information about the new characters around psycho killer Joe Goldberg.
For fans, the man in the baseball cap is unmistakable: US actor Penn Badgley will take on the role of serial killer Joe Goldberg one last time. The fifth season of the famous Netflix series is scheduled to appear this year. There is no exact start date yet. There is speculation that the final season will be released in summer 2024.
Now, however, more has become known about the people around Joe Goldberg. Two new actors have been confirmed to Variety: Anna Camp and Griffin Matthews will play the siblings of Joe Goldberg’s girlfriend Kate, with whom he moved to New York at the end of the fourth season. After the London setting in season 4, the series will probably return to the USA, to the home of murderer Joe Goldberg.
“You”: Three new siblings in the Lockwood house
Actress Anna Camp (“Mad Men”, “Pitch Perfect”) plays two characters: the twins Reagan and Maddie Lockwood. “Reagan is the cunning, murderous CFO of Lockword Corp. She has her eyes on the throne and will destroy any opponent, whether they’re family or not. Maddie comes off as a dubious twin, a thrice-divorced socialite whose job has “something to do with PR.” “But don’t be fooled: Behind her frivolous facade lies a master manipulator,” says Variety. Griffin Matthews (“The Flight Attendant,” “Genius”) takes on the role of Teddy Lockwood, described as “the sarcastic but loyal brother-in-law of Joe Goldberg.”

In addition, there is still one return open: fans want “Scream” actress Jenna Ortega to return as “Ellie”. The actress was actually supposed to appear in the fourth season. “We wanted to bring Ellie back, but we heard that Jenna was filming another series,” screenwriter Sera Gamble told IndieWire.
