The death of the renowned actor caused shock in the industry and the family released a statement lamenting the tragedy.
The star of ”Gene V”, Chance Perdomodied after suffering a motorcycle accident, where it was reported that no other people were involved. The death for the 27-year-old actor came at the best moment of his career.
More recently, Perdomo starred Gene V from Amazon Prime Video as Andre Anderson, a popular student and Luke’s best friend (Patrick Schwarzenegger) with magnetic manipulation capabilities. She worked alongside Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips and London Thor in the superhero series, which is a spin-off of the popular series ”The Boys. Production of season 2 will be delayed following the tragedy.

A post on behalf of Perdomo’s family and representatives detailed: “His passion for the arts and his insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will continue in those he loved most. “We ask that you respect the family’s wish for privacy as they grieve the loss of their beloved son and brother.”
“We cannot fully understand this. To those of us who knew and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer and, most of all, a very kind and charming person. Even writing about him in the past tense is meaningless. We are so sorry to Chance’s family and mourn the loss of our friend and colleague. He hugs your loved ones tonight,” the show’s producer shared in a statement.
Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television added: “The entire Gen V family is devastated by the sudden passing of Chance Perdomo. “Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television extend our sincere thoughts and support to Chance’s family and everyone who loved him during this difficult time.”
Who was Chance Perdomo, actor of ”Gen V”
Perdomo was an Afro-Latino actor born in Los Angeles but raised in Southampton, England. He wanted to study law after graduating, but instead focused on acting. His career began working at the National Youth Theater in London.
Before passing through Gene V, played the lead role of Ambrose Spellman in ”The chilling adventures of Sabrina” by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, alongside Kiernan Shipka, Ross Lynch and Michelle Gomez, to name a few.
His death comes at the highest point of his career.since his character in the Amazon Prime series was acclaimed by the majority of fans, and also the second season of the show was approaching.
