In the Amazon show “LOL – Last One Laughing” celebrities are not allowed to laugh. Presenter Ina Müller felt how difficult this is early on in the current fifth season. The 58-year-old was thrown out of the show after around an hour because she had grinned twice.
“Of course that sucks, of course. You don’t go there to be the first to be thrown out,” Müller told the German Press Agency. “Of course it’s annoying, but that’s exactly what separates me from the professionals. That would never have happened to the professionals.”
In the six episodes, Otto Waalkes, Hazel Brugger and Ralf Schmitz, among others, have to make each other laugh. Anyone who smiles for the second time within six hours is thrown out.
Müller from Hamburg was caught when she accidentally spit out bread crumbs in the direction of actor Elyas M’Barek and saw his puzzled face. “His look was enough to make me laugh.” The fifth season of “LOL” has been on the streaming service Amazon Prime Video since last Thursday – every Thursday the streaming service puts two new episodes online.
