Hannah Emde will be moderating the well-known ZDF documentary series “Terra X: Fascination Earth” from April. What did the Bonn native do before?
Species conservationist Hannah Emde (“Terra “I grew up in Bonn and I think the mix of life here is great. The city is very international and has a nice size with a lot of greenery around it. And: I’m a Rhinelander through and through,” she told the German Press Agency. When she lived in the north during her career, she missed carnival a lot. And not just there. “Even in the jungle, I sometimes saw photos from the Rhineland on Shrove Monday and thought: Man, it would be nice to be there now,” she reported. “You miss carnival, even in the jungle.”
The veterinarian from Bonn will in future present the well-known ZDF documentary series “Terra X: Fascination Earth”. She is following in the footsteps of Joachim Bublath (81) and Dirk Steffens (56). The first episodes will be available in the ZDF media library from Wednesday (April 3rd) and will be shown in the ZDF main program from Sunday (April 7th, 7:30 p.m.).
Emde studied in Hanover and completed internships at various research stations in the jungle during her career. She also assisted in protection projects around the globe.
