Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ex-girlfriend Cassie is apparently helping investigators

After several of his properties were investigated by federal agents, Sean “Diddy” Combs defended himself against an alleged “hunt.” The musician is accused, among other things, of sex trafficking. His ex-partner Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura may have more information.

Sean “Diddy” Combs sees himself as a victim. Diddy’s lawyer Aaron Dyer recently spoke of an “unprecedented ambush” and a “witch hunt” when he criticized the house searches by officers. Combs faces multiple lawsuits from people who accuse him of sexually abusing them. Combs has denied all allegations made against him. Among other things, producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones filed a lawsuit in federal court in New York in February. He accuses the 54-year-old of sexually harassing, drugging and threatening him over a period of more than a year. Just one lawsuit among several that Diddy’s attorney tried to dismiss as “baseless allegations in civil suits.”

Diddy: Ex-girlfriend Cassie is reportedly helping with the investigation

Now a name comes into play that could be even more dangerous for Diddy. According to TMZ, Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura is cooperating with investigators. In a 35-page indictment, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie accused the producer of psychological violence and manipulation at the end of last year. A little later they both agree on a settlement.

As a former wife at the musician’s side, Cassie should have a lot of insider knowledge. She and the musician were in a relationship for ten years until they separated in 2018. As “TMZ” reports, the cooperation between her and the police began before the house searches. In addition, she is not the only woman from Diddy’s environment who is currently helping with the investigation.

Cassie and Diddy’s relationship already began with a power imbalance. When the young, aspiring musician met hip-hop great Sean Combs, she was 19 and he was 37. Not only that: Combs, who had already used the nicknames Diddy, P. Diddy, Puff Daddy, Puffy, Swag, Love and Brother Love was one of the most important decision makers in the industry. In 1993 he founded his label Bad Boy Records and represented, among others, The Notorious BIG and Mary J. Blige.

She settled with him out of court

Cassie also became part of Bad Boy Records – and Diddy noticed her. He invited himself to her 21st birthday and forced Ventura to kiss her, the Guardian quoted from the lawsuit last year. The relationship changed quickly. The complaint not only speaks of psychological violence, but also of physical violence. Diddy is said to have been prone to tantrums and regularly hit his girlfriend. “These beatings were witnessed by Mr.’ associates and employees of Bad Boy Entertainment and Mr. Combs’ associated companies, but no one dared to defend themselves against their fearsome and cruel boss… After these episodes of horrific abuse, Mr. Combs tried “immediately tried to hide Ms. Ventura and the evidence of his violent rage. He often showered her with gifts after incidents of physical violence, a typical pattern of behavior among serial offenders,” the lawsuit says.

Cassie also accused Diddy of forcing her to have sex with male prostitutes. He filmed the act. The two met for dinner in 2018. According to the lawsuit, Cassie hoped to finally break away from him, “whereupon he forced her into her apartment and raped her while she repeatedly said ‘no’ and tried to push him away.”

Diddy denied his ex-partner’s allegations at the time. A day after making headlines, both settled out of court. “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family nothing but the best. With love,” said Sean “Diddy” Combs.
