Parasyte: The Grays (Parasyte: The Grey) is the new horror and science fiction series Inspired by the popular manga by Hitoshi Iwaaki. Production reaches Netflix, after selling more than 25 million copies around the world and promises to immerse you in the fear of the invisible.

Filmmaker Yeon Sang-ho, recognized for his influence on Z cinema with the film Zombie Station (Train to Busan, 2016), arrived to the platform with Parasyte: The grays, with a six-episode live-action adaptation. The horror and science fiction genre series sets the story in South Korea and will take some licenses from the original material by introducing new characters, but maintaining its imaginative world and its crude message.

The production directed by Yeon Sang Ho promises to captivate the public from the first episode. In Hitsoshi’s raw style, the characters will find themselves in a fight against the invasion of a phenomenon never seen before: parasites.

What “Parasyte: The Greys”, the new Netflix series, is about
The series begins with the invasion of unidentified parasites that take control of humans, gain power and push society to face an imminent threat. “They arrive in silence and darkness. They descend from the sky. They are hungry for human flesh. They are everywhere.
They are parasites, alien creatures that must invade and take control of a human host to survive. And once they’ve infected their victims, they can take on any deadly form they choose: monsters with giant teeth, winged demons, creatures with blades for hands. But most choose to hide their lethal purpose behind ordinary human faces,” details the official synopsis.
