Legal dispute with Jolie and the allegations of violence: Ines de Ramon stands by Brad Pitt

The ongoing legal dispute between Brad Pitt (60) and his ex-wife Angelina Jolie (48) continues to dominate the headlines. Ostensibly, the lengthy dispute between Pitt and Jolie is about the sale of their former shared winery, Château Miraval in the south of France. Jolie is said to have sold her shares to a Russian oligarch in 2021 without Pitt’s consent. The actress’ legal team filed a motion on April 4 seeking documents that they say prove that Pitt would have bought Jolie’s share of the winery only if she had signed a nondisclosure agreement.

In this context, Jolie stated in court that Pitt’s alleged outburst of violence during the flight was the first that was also directed against their children. Jolie himself had allegedly been physically abused by him before. Pitt is said to have pressured his ex-wife into a non-disclosure agreement in 2021. Jolie and her children should have committed at the time not to talk about his alleged attacks of abuse. Pitt has denied all allegations of physical abuse and was not charged following an FBI investigation into the incident in 2016.

“He’s certainly not perfect. He’ll be the first to tell you that. But he’ll continue to defend himself legally,” the insider told People. Pitt’s lawyers have already responded to Jolie’s new allegations. A source on Pitt’s side said: “This case is not about what happened on a plane in 2016.
