Emiliano Pinson he said goodbye to the radio program Up, Fuck, which is broadcast on Dsports Radio. Affected by Parkinson’s disease, which was detected in mid-2022, the 52-year-old journalist decided to leave his profession aside to focus fully on an intense and invasive treatment against this health problem that affects the nervous system and the parts of the body controlled by nerves.
“Today is a special day for all of us. Emiliano made it special in these almost two years that we have had since June 14, 2022. He wants to tell us something,” the driver slipped. Gaston Recondowho gave Pinsón the opportunity to tell the arguments behind his decision.
The communicator stated: “It is my last program. Last Thursday I went to do some tests and they didn’t turn out well. “I have atypical Parkinson’s, that means it is not the rigid Parkinson’s as I was originally diagnosed.”
Pinsón detailed: “It is a type of Parkinson’s that is not well studied and its development variesnot like the rigid one that has a shaky demeanor and is operable. My problem is in the cerebellumthat is, you cannot operate, because you cannot get there.”
Along the same lines, he maintained that his “muscles are atrophying” and that prevents him from having the strength to face the days. At the same time, on his social networks, he usually shares content about his daily routine and what specific exercises he does to stay in shape.
“I have little time left, no joke. Let’s try not to, statistics are always made to be broken. In general, those who have my disease end up in wheelchairs, almost speechless or with speech problems,” she said.
“I don’t know if that’s going to be the end of me, I hope not. I’ll try not to. I’m going to do everything possible to make sure it doesn’t happen like that, but it can happen,” she remarked in front of the microphone.
The doctors’ request to Emiliano Pinsón
The doctors asked him to follow a “life of cure” that consists of sleeping eight hours, eating properly and exercising.
“At this point I am no longer interested in money. I’m going to be with my wife, to fight her. I’m going to start with a cane and then move on to a wheelchair. I hope it’s one like Splinter’s, which was cool. “It is not the ending I would have wanted,” stated the journalist, who, in turn, specified that he “does not want to retire” and therefore does not rule out continuing to work on television.
