The former No Doubt frontwoman and the country star both suffer from occasional self-doubt.
The singer couple Gwen Stefani (54) and Blake Shelton (47) say they share insecurities about aging. “I’ve been through those times where you’re like, ‘Oh my God, is it just me getting older? Am I pretty?” Stefani told Nylon magazine. In the relationship, “you create a drama in your head about your insecurities and what could happen,” she said. “I was at that stage in the relationship with Blake and I became paranoid.”
Shelton added that they both sometimes suffered from such worries. “These are conversations that she and I have together,” he said. “Will you still love me when I’m old or when I forget who I am?”
The former No Doubt frontwoman and the country star have been a couple since 2015 and married since 2021. In the new duet “Purple Irises” they sing together about insecurities and ups and downs in married life.
