Pamela Anderson will join Liam Neeson in the untitled reboot of Naked Gun (The naked gun) from Paramount Pictures, which Akiva Schaffer will direct and executive produce with a US theatrical release date of July 18, 2025.

The actress of baywatch has several comedies under his belt, as he has starred in big screen titles such as Scary Movie 3 and Superhero Movie, both satirical films in the spirit of Naked Gun. Anderson also reprized her television role as CJ Parker in the shortened version of baywatch Paramount’s 2017 film for the big screen, starring Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron and Alexandra Daddario.

Dan Gregor and Doug Mand they wrote the draft script together with Schaffer for Naked Gun. Gregor and Mand also wrote the Primetime Emmy-winning Disney+ film, Chip ‘N Dale: Rescue Rangers. Seth MacFarlane and Erica Huggins are producing Naked from their company Fuzzy Door. Daniel M. Stillman is executive producer.
The film is based on the Naked Gun film franchise, which grew out of the television series Police Squad also starring Leslie Nielsen.
Naked Gun was created by the original creators of Airplane: Jim Abrahams, David Zucker and Jerry Zucker. In the early 1990s, the Naked Gun trilogy was a domestic moneymaker that grossed over $216 million. Like Airplane, Naked Gun was revered for its outrageous parody, ridiculous set pieces, and on-screen sight gags (often what was happening in the background was even more hysterical than the action taking place at the beginning).
