Olly Murs has become a father for the first time. “Our mini-Murs has arrived,” the British singer proudly announces.
A new phase of life begins for Olly Murs (39). In December 2023, the singer announced on social media that his wife Amelia (31) was pregnant. Now the singer’s first baby is born, which shows the couple with the baby seat in the hallway of a hospital. “Our Mini-Murs has arrived,” writes the “Heart Skips A Beat” interpreter.
Murs also reveals the name of his first offspring to his 4.6 million followers. His child’s name is Madison. “We love you so much already,” he enthuses about his baby.
Wedding in summer 2023
Murs and his wife met via Instagram in 2020. The couple announced their engagement in 2022 and a year later were married at a three-day festival on the private Osea Island in Essex. Both the musician and the bodybuilder have wanted children for a long time. “We’re so ready to have kids now, and it all ended up coming naturally and it was beautiful,” Murs said
Olly Murs celebrated his breakthrough in 2009 by taking part in “The X Factor”. Second place in the casting show was followed by several number one albums. The Brit is currently very busy at work as he is on a 41-day tour of Great Britain and Ireland with Take That. But Murs was well prepared for the birth of his child. “Every few days I have a day off on tour so that if it happens I can come back,” he explained in the interview. He wants to have his little family in the audience when he performs in the summer.
