Martin Scorsese has a new project in hand and everything indicates that it will be a biographical film about Frank Sinatra starring Leonardo Dicaprio (in the role of the musician) and Jennifer Lawrence (like his ex-wife Ava Gardner).
According to the Variety portal, there are already several studios and platforms that are “fighting” over this film by the director of Taxi Driverbut first they need the approval of Tina, Sinatra’s daughter, who controls his estate.
Apple, which financed “Flower Moon” to the tune of $215 million, would love to continue working with Scorsese, but Sony is said to be the favorite to pick up the project.

Likewise, this will not be Scorsese’s next film, as he will first film one about Jesus that will begin filming this year. It should be remembered that the news about the project came after the director had a brief meeting with Pope Francis.
