The encounter with the Earth is the fundamental pillar for the Mauricio Lorca Winery. The respect, the understanding, the translation of his voice. With the Voices of the Earth Mural, we sought to connect music with resilience through mural art, with the help of the NGO Pinta Argentina aimed at giving color and life to different spaces in Argentina, carrying the work for inclusion as a flag. of people with disabilities. Victoria, artist of the work, is a pianist and paints what she hears, hence her inspiration.
Voices of the Earth Concept
The earth speaks to us if we are willing to listen to its voice and what it has to tell. What is the narrative that it encompasses and how it wants to be translated into wine. From the 5 senses, understand the echo that emerges from all the history that the centuries-old vineyards house.
Mauricio Lorca Author of Wines embodies the unique vision of a winemaker who establishes himself as an artist, exploring the limits of wine art. On this journey, each strain becomes a canvas, and each wine, a meticulously created work of art. The essence of this brand lies in the deep research and tireless innovation of Mauricio Lorca, who not only makes exceptional wines, but also transforms the experience of tasting them into an artistic expression.
This brand is not only limited to winemaking; It is the synthesis of listening to the land and translating the unique expressions of each varietal. In each bottle, there is the narrative of the land, the story of a terroir that cries out to be understood and respected. Mauricio Lorca Author of Wines not only makes wines, but interprets the intimate connection with the vine, understanding each corner of the vineyards as a living testimony of nature.
The concept expands beyond borders, crossing the ocean to Spain, where the voices of the land also find echo in the practices of the winery. Mauricio Lorca becomes a traveling winemaker, exploring and respecting each territory with an intimate connection with the vine. In this artistic and oenological journey, Mauricio Lorca Author of Wines stands as a brand that not only creates exceptional wines, but also celebrates the richness and diversity of the land that gives it life.
On this occasion, the Voices of the Earth Mural, made by artist Victoria Ferreyra, embodies this same vision. It becomes a visible canvas and gateway to this new identity that the winery embodies.
Victoria Ferreyra
Originally from Caseros, Buenos Aires, Vika has transcended borders taking her art to more than 30 countries and throughout Argentina. Inspiration from her sister Beba de ella, a talented self-taught artist with Down syndrome, has marked Vika’s path in exploring art as a means of expression and resilience.
Vika Ferreyra is the Creative Director of the sociocultural movement “Pinta Argentina”, an international project that travels the world generating routes of art and inclusion, connecting with diverse communities and promoting resilience and the common good. Her focus on social responsibility and her ability to articulate with community components have created cultural bridges that celebrate diversity and strengthen human bonds.
Voices of the Earth Mural
This is a large-scale mural art intervention that is based on the resilience of our land. This mural, part of the Pinta Argentina movement, is a visual testimony of humility, strengths and generosity, capturing the very essence of nature and the deep connection with the land.
This mural not only decorates the walls of the winery; It represents the art, resilience and history that flow through our vines and our lives, because the winery is made by the people, the team, their stories. The winery thus becomes a living canvas, where each harvest is a new brushstroke in the narrative of our land.
