“Waiting for the carriage” It is one of the most emblematic creations of the great Jacob LangsnerUruguayan author – born in Romania – and based in Buenos Aires.
It was premiered in Montevideo on October 12, 1962 by Comedia Uruguaya. And in 1975 in Buenos Aires with the direction of Villanueva Cosse.
In 1973 it was presented in the television series “High Comedy”with the direction of another great, Alejandro Doria. The same one who, ten years later, immortalized her in the film version of her that would make her world famous.
Today this work, an icon of the River Plate identity, is presented again, with its texts of biting and hilarious lucidity, along with the echo of the voices of actors and actresses who left those same phrases recorded in the collective memory.
The cast will be led by Campi, Paola Barrientos, Pablo Rago, Ana Katz, Sebastián Presta, Valeria Lois, Mariano Torre, Andrés Granier, Milva Leonardi, Marina Castillo and Mayra Homar.
