Speaking about taking over from Cavill, Hemsworth said last year: “As a Witcher fan, I am delighted with the opportunity to play Geralt of Rivia. Henry Cavill has been an incredible Geralt, and I am honored that he will hand me the reins and allow me to take up the swords of the White Wolf for the next chapter of his adventure.
“Henry, I’ve been a fan of yours for years and was inspired by what you brought to this beloved character. He may have some big boots to fill, but I’m really excited to enter the world of The Witcher.”
What the third season of The Witcher was about
