Jon Bon Jovi and his music colleagues look back on 40 years of band history, which was filmed as a documentary series for Disney+.
Jon Bon Jovi (62) made a brilliant appearance in London. The 62-year-old attended the UK premiere of the Disney+ series, which explores the 40-year history of Bon Jovi, with his bandmates on Wednesday (April 17).
The grizzled rock star appeared in an elegant suit. The lead singer didn’t wear a tie, which gave his look a certain casualness. He posed for some photos wearing sunglasses. Keyboarder David Bryan (62) and drummer Tico Torres (70) accompanied him on the red carpet. Bassist Hugh McDonald (73) was missing from the event at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square. Bon Jovi’s wife Dorothea Bongiovi (61) was also on the red carpet with the band and posed for the photographers with her husband.
Bon Jovi documentary series coming to Disney+
The Bon Jovi stars celebrated the premiere of their documentary series “Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story” by director Gotham Chopra (49), who was also at the event. The four-part documentary about the band’s history will be released on April 26th on the Disney+ streaming service.
The 62-year-old had previously spoken about the documentary in the. The singer described viewing the material as emotional. “We met about six months ago to watch a rough cut and that was the last time I watched it and it was emotional,” Bon Jovi said.
New album announced
The American rock band Bon Jovi was founded in 1983. Bon Jovi enjoyed great international success, especially in the 80s and 90s, with songs like “Livin’ On a Prayer”, “Bed of Roses” and “It’s My Life”. A new album titled “Bon Jovi: Forever” was announced for June this year.
