The superstar’s new album comes out on Friday. Now Swift has announced the name of the first single – and who she worked with for it.
Superstar Taylor Swift releases a single with American pop musician Post Malone. The 34-year-old announced on Instagram that it will be the first release from her album “The Tortured Poets Department,” which will be released on Friday.
She wrote that she is a big fan of the 28-year-old because he writes so well, experiments musically and creates melodies that you can’t get out of your head. The single is titled “Fortnight”.
Marketing campaigns over the past few days were intended to make fans curious about the American musician’s eleventh studio album. On the streaming provider Apple Music, Swift published five playlists with her own old songs, which she thematically assigned to the five phases of grief (denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance) – possible themes for her upcoming album.
In Los Angeles, the streaming provider Spotify set up a mini library in public spaces with various exhibits that were intended to provide information about Swift’s album. Fans could take photos there.
