The Max Original series about the life of Queen Máxima arrives very soon in Latin America.
In the month of August it premieres in Max a gripping historical drama. Maximum traces the history of Maxima Zorreguieta from her early years in Argentina and New York to her engagement to the Dutch crown prince Willem-Alexander.
What Maxima is about
Seville, 1999. From the moment the beautiful Argentine Máxima appears next to the Dutch crown prince, she finds herself in the eye of the storm. But when Willem-Alexander asks her to marry him, her past catches up with her. Heated discussions arise about her father’s political career during the military dictatorship under Videla, something she never faced in her own circles. What allows Máxima to finally thrive in an ancient European court? And how can Máxima stay true to herself without giving up on her family – or do these things just not go together?

Starring Delfina Chaves and Martin Lakemeierthe series has six episodes and is inspired by the work of the Dutch journalist Marcia Luyten. Máxima is a Max Original series developed by Millstreet Films and Videoland (RTL Netherlands) and directed by Saskia Diesing.
