Princess Charlène of Monaco has now made such a card and is sending it around the world via Instagram: “We wish everyone a nice and safe party. All my love,” writes the 43-year-old. It shows Charlène together with her 20-year-old elder Husband, Prince Albert of Monaco, and their two children, the seven-year-old twins Jacques and Gabriella.
This card replaces the usual family photo that the Grimaldis used to send out for Christmas. The painting suggests that the former swimmer from South Africa is still not with her family in Monaco. So this time there is only one painted picture instead of the photo taken together.
As her husband Albert announced a month ago, Charlène is in a clinic “somewhere in Europe” for treatment for “mental and physical exhaustion”. It will take several weeks for her to recover. It is assumed that her place of residence is in Switzerland.

Due to her treatment, the 43-year-old not only missed the national holiday of Monaco, which is celebrated with a parade in front of the Prince’s Palace, but also the birthday of her two children. Jacques and Gabriella turned seven on December 10th. Charlène also sent greetings via Instagram: “Happy birthday, my babies,” she wrote on Instagram, and thanked God for blessing her with such wonderful children.
