In love as on the first day: Jürgen Prochnow and Verena Wengler exchanged dreamy looks at a gala in Berlin over the weekend.
We rarely see performances like this. Last weekend, however, “Das Boot” star Jürgen Prochnow (82) and the Austrian actress Verena Wengler (62) appeared together again on the red carpet at the Felix Burda Award Gala in Berlin. There they were photographed by the photographers holding hands and looking in love.
Wengler wore an elegant, dark blue satin dress with three-quarter sleeves for the gala evening. She also chose silver statement earrings and styled her red hair in a chic updo. Prochnow appeared in a simple black suit, underneath which he wore a white shirt and left off his tie.
She is his third wife
The two actors have been married since March 2015. Wengler is Prochnow’s third wife. He was previously married to Isabel Goslar, and their marriage had two children. He then married actress and director Birgit Stein and divorced in 2014. He will now live with Wengler in Berlin and on Lake Garda.
