At Blur’s set on the festival’s first weekend, Albarn expressed frustration at the unenthusiastic crowd during a performance of “Girls & Boys.”
“You can do better than that,” he told attendees at one point, which was greeted by a silent crowd. When he still didn’t get the desired response, the leader said, “You’ll never see us again, so you better sing it. You know what I am saying?”.

What was said this weekend comes after Albarn declared in December that the band would be on hiatus until further notice, saying “it’s too much for me.”
“It’s time to conclude this campaign,” he said. “It’s too much for me. It was the right thing to do and an immense honor to play these songs again, spend time with these guys, make an album, blah, blah, blah.”
Continuous: “I’m not saying I won’t do it again, it was a beautiful success, but I’m not staying in the past.”.
