The baby is here! Professional footballer Julian Weigl (28) and his wife, presenter Sarah Richmond (26), have become parents again. The couple confirmed the birth of their second child on Tuesday (April 23) and also revealed that it is a girl.
“We didn’t have the easiest start”

We were finally able to bring our little fighter home.” New mom Sarah Richmond also wrote: “We didn’t have the easiest start, but now we’re making up for everything at home.” Weigl and Richmond do not reveal exactly when the child was born or any other details.
Numerous congratulations have already poured in in the comments section. Julian Weigl’s football club, Borussia Mönchengladbach, also shared the news via Instagram. “The Borussia family is growing!” said an Instagram story.
Weigl and Richmond announced the pregnancy in December 2023. The Gladbach player and the WDR presenter have been a couple since 2011 and married in Portugal in 2020. In 2021 they became parents of a daughter for the first time.
