He said he intended to make her somewhat sympathetic, stating: “Stalking is usually portrayed as someone being kind of evil, whereas I felt like there was a vulnerable person who couldn’t really stop, who for some reason had believed the reality. that was inside her head and no matter what she couldn’t change from that.”
