Research indicates that those who consume coffee daily have a lower risk of developing these metabolic conditions compared to those who do not. The research was carried out with a group of 1878 adults, both men and women, between 20 and 70 years old for a period of more than 5 years. The results revealed a significant association between coffee consumption and a lower incidence of prediabetes and type 2 diabetes.
