Lily Allen flies first class – and lets her daughter sit in economy
A few months ago, Robbie Williams and wife Ayda Field said they would not take their children in first class when flying together as a family. The kids only have to earn this privilege when they earn money themselves and are older, say the two. Lily Allen probably feels the same way. In her podcast, the singer tells her friend Miquita Oliver that she booked a first class ticket for herself, but not for her daughter Ethel. “Do you know what that is?” asked Allen’s childhood friend. “Selfish?” the singer replied jokingly. It is “the circle of life,” says Miquita Oliver. “This kid is coming to London now – because you live in New York – for my 40th birthday, which we’re celebrating at the end of the street where we grew up,” she says. Lily Allen doesn’t explain why exactly she doesn’t want to have her child with her in the luxury section of the plane.
