Jeremy Renner is back in the first full official trailer presented by Paramount+ of the long-awaited third season of Mayor of Kingstown.
Next, Renner returns to the business as a Michigan crime boss in the series Paramount+from the co-creators Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon.
The season marks Renner’s acting return following his near-fatal accident with a snowplow on New Year’s Day 2023. Renner returned to the set a year after being seriously injured after being hit by a 14,300-pound snowplow at his home in Reno, Nevada. He had broken 38 bones and his rib cage was reconstructed with metal, along with metal plates in his face to support his eye socket and titanium rods in one of his legs.
What the third season of Mayor of Kingstown is about
The official description: “A series of explosions rock Kingstown and its citizens, as a new face of the Russian mafia moves into town and a drug war rages inside and outside the prison walls. Mike McLusky (Renner) is under pressure to end the war, but things get complicated when a familiar face from his imprisoned past threatens to undermine the mayor’s attempts to keep peace between all factions.
The third season premieres on Sunday, June 2 in the US and Canada before launching in international markets the next day.
